For the second consecutive season, the Idaho State football team came into the final game winless. And for the second consecutive season, they won that final game sending the seniors out in style with a 41-34 win over Portland State on Saturday, Nov. 14 in front of 5,019 fans in Holt Arena.
The Idaho State women's basketball team began their season this past weekend, losing 76-69 to the Gaels of Saint Mary's on Friday, Nov. 13, in a game that afforded glimpses of the potential that ISU's freshman class brings to the team; while the Bengals couldn't stay competitive with the nationally ranked California Golden Bears, losing 100-43 on Sunday, Nov.
There was no way around what the Idaho State volleyball team had to accomplish on Saturday, Nov. 14 against Weber State. It was a must-win game and they made the most of it. The Bengals cruised to a three set sweep of the Wildcats 25-12, 26-24, 25-21 to keep their postseason hopes alive.

But those other 10 minutes certainly told the story, as the Cyclones blew open a tie game in the first half with a killer 30-8 run over a 10:06 span of the first half as the Cyclones kept the Bengals winless all-time against the Big XII with an 88-68 win in front of a big crowd of 13,727 at Hilton Coliseum.
